The Utopia Skate Contest has been the first of the season at the Calf Pasture Skate Park for the past two years. Although the park is open pretty much year-round, the event really kicks in the door of the summer contest series.
This years contest will be sponsored by Girl & Chocolate Skateboards, Alien Workshop,with two NYC based companies Bodega and ::::all skateboards bringing a few riders... and maybe some goodies as well!
The event will run from 2-6 pm Saturday April 25th and admission to the park and the contest are absolutely free. An itinerary of the day's events will be available on the day of the contest at the sign-in table. Parental permission will be required for all minors. Utopia has given the invite to all local shops and skateparks, so a huge turnout should be expected.
Skatepark contest series dates are available through the Norwalk Parks and Recreation Department.
